Our Winter 2020 Vautrin Education Exchange (VEE) program completed about a month ago. Despite the challenges introduced by COVID-19, most participants were able to complete the program. Several schools imposed restrictions on international visitors. In those cases, our US hosts got creative in finding ways to provide our participants valuable knowledge and experience during their program.
We hosted participants in the following cities:
- Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Honolulu, Hawaii
- Wilmore, Kentucky
- Cleveland, Ohio
- Tucson, Arizona
We received tremendously positive feedback from participants on their experiences visiting schools, meeting teachers and students, learning new teaching and classroom management techniques, and spending time with their host families.
